FAQ
Do you pierce with a gun or a needle?
We only use single-use, sterile cannula needles for all our piercings, rather than piercing guns. This is because piercing guns are not precise, cannot be fully sterilised, and can cause harm to the surrounding skin due to the blunt force trauma caused by the earring.
Can I be pierced with my own jewellery?
For sterilisation reasons, we only pierce with jewellery from our clinic. During our academy courses, you will be supplied with sterile jewellery for all models.
Can I purchase jewellery online and come into Nude Body Aesthetics to get a piercing?
Unfortunately, no. For safety purposes, we only use specific piercing sizes at our clinic location. Also, when we are unaware of the source or sterilisation process of the jewellery you have bought, it cannot be used for the initial piercings.
What is your piercing jewellery made of?
All of our piercing jewellery is crafted from high-quality, implant-grade materials, including Titanium and Solid 14k Gold.
Can I be pierced if I am under 18?
Yes, but clients who are under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and both must bring valid IDs. We do not pierce anyone under the age of 8 years old. Minors are also only permitted specific piercings.
What age do I need to be to attend a Luxury Piercing Course at Nude?
Anyone booking or attending any of our courses must be 18 years old or above to complete the course.
How many piercings can I get in one appointment?
We allow 2 cartilage piercings during one appointment. If your appointment is to have both lobes pierced, we do allow one additional cartilage piercing during the appointment.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are always preferred for all planned visits including training courses. If you would like to pop by on a certain day for a walk-in appointment please check early in the day if we have any space via Instagram DM.
Do you supply models for training days?
We do ask if its possible to have one model per student organised prior to the course. We do advertise a week before the course date to make sure we have plenty models lined up for as much practice as possible.
Is there online theory before the course?
You are not required to complete any online theory before the course. After the course is complete we do ask that 5-10 case studies are complete for the first 5-10 piercings that you do. This allows us to monitor your understanding and knowledge.
How many students is there within a training course?
Each training course will only consist of a maximum of 6 students per class. This allows for maximum time with each student and allows everyone time for questions and more practical work within the two day course.
Is there ongoing support after the training course?
Once training has been complete each student will be added to one of our whats app groups. this allows students to mingle and discuss topics between each other, ask for help or discuss a topic they are unsure on. All questions and topics are monitored by the Academy.
How long do students have support after the traning?
After each students completes training they will be given a members only log in and password per student. This is an online section that is constantly updated with how to videos, demos, information, the latest trends, suppliers and much more!
Is there an opportunity to come back for more practice after training?
Yes, we have opportunities for people requiring slightly more help. This can be done with a shadow day at a small cost.
